Hello Success Seekers!

As I mentioned in my previous emails over the past few weeks, our focus is shifting for the better. We are taking out of the box all the LOA philosophy and great learning with the masters from the past year and applying them to real life! We will begin with our businesses, careers, finance and communities. What better way to kick that off than with a meet and greet with this city's candidates. When it comes to politics, can we all just get along??

We are heading into the Primary Election on 9/15, but did you know that early voting has already begun for mayor and all the local offices? Do you know your local councilmen and their direct importance to your business, education, family and public safety? How can you be versed in LOA, yet you do not understand the cycle of governance in your life and how it directly effects your success as a human being?

Come on out and join us for dinner at the chic and very eclectic Pewter Rose Restaurant, right upstairs from Charlotte's historic Sunset Club. Joining us for conversation will be the esteemed former Mayor Pro Tem and candidate for City Council At-Large, Patrick D. Cannon. Be informed about one of your local candidates by bringing your questions re. his stance on employment, business, education, public safety, etc. Our local politicians are often overlooked during major races, so this is your opportunity to meet, greet and eat with one of Charlotte's native sons who has been serving the Queen City for over 12 years www.patrickdcannon.com. The office he is running for is the one that deals directly with your local issues of day to day living in Charlotte. He is also host of the radio show "Aiming With Cannon Live" on Sunday mornings. It is presently on hold until after the election. This event is by reservation ONLY with limited seating, so you MUST RSVP or risk being turned away if you are not on the list. Other meetup groups have been invited to attend.

Pewter Rose's location is less than one mile from the uptown business district; in the heart of historic South End and the Dilworth neighborhood. Additionally they have a stop on The Light Rail! Chef Bragg and staff offer menus that are "Internationally- American," drawing on the diverse, ethnic and cultural heritage of the United States - relating it to the palate of the region. Local produce, fresh seafood, poultry, beef, pork, game meats, and vegetarian items are all interpreted in unique yet "comfortable" ways. The extensive wine list of over 200 selections is an evolving work of love by Owner Susie Peck. With emphasis on French and California wines, each has been hand selected. They are proud to note that their wine list has received numerous awards from the prestigious "Wine Spectator" magazine. They also offer 10-12 wines by the glass on a monthly basis. Feel free to ask your server for advice with your wine selection. Visit their web site at www.PewterRose.com.

See you there!
