WHAT TO BRING:
Please bring a beach towel, your bathing suit and water. You can also bring your journal for notes, a camera, snacks for yourself or to share, and a crystal to add to our altar for the ocean ceremony.

Some are bringing crystals to get blessed and bring home and some are bringing crystals to gift the ocean. Please feel free to do either or both.

DIRECTIONS:
We're meeting at the beach at the east end of NE 27th Street, 2 blocks east of A1A.
NE 27th Street ends at a parking lot. Its off of A1A, between Sunrise Blvd and Oakland Park Blvd, closer to Oakland.

From A1A, turn east onto NE 27th, and take it 2 blocks to the end (where it intersects North Atlantic Blvd). There are about 20 parking spots in this lot, and it costs $1 an hour to park.

If the lot is full, which is frequently is, you can (unofficially) park at the big church parking lot that is on NE 27th Street and A1A, on the west side of the road. This is 2 blocks away and is free parking! You can drop your stuff off at the beach, then park.

    I can't believe I am in picture like this on the web ( being half naked) ! Thanks again to everyone who was there. It was such a blessing that day and I sit here a week later I am still talking about it. I really hope we can all get together and do something soon.

    Joe, I appreciate again you putting this meeting together and sharing so much of yourself with all of us who attended. It was a delightful healing day! The appreciation we had for one another shifted something inside of me and brought so much more awareness. Thank you! You are a sweetheart:)

    • “ It was really great to connect with fantastic like-minded people in Nature's beautiful arena. The water was so delicious and loving as was the support from everyone in the group. The worst thing about the workshop was having to leave. The majority of us stayed until close to 7 PM. Not only was it truly enjoyable but it was also educational. Joe as the organizer utilized much of his previous therapeutic training increasing our awareness of interactions and communication. We were reminded of the nuances of both verbal and non-verbal communication. We spoke of a novel distinction between gratitude and appreciation. We reveled in the support and trust inherent in the group. Joe created a very nurturing environment where it was safe to be and feel vulnerable and to explore that vulnerability. It was safe to discard pre-conceived notions and let go of limiting behaviors and baggage. ”

Everyone participated fully in the workshop, after doing several rounds of appreciation exercises, flexing our appreciation muscles, we appreciated the many wonderful things about each other. The facilitator JoeBaby has a wealth of experience and alternatively welcomed, allowed, and guided us through several processes and rituals. An immersive celebration and group blessing of the Ocean, the Cosmos, all of Life and our InterBeing. A snorkeling lesson. A bubbly ecstasy lesson. A discussion of what true APPRECIATION is -- & how it can be understood as contrasting with 'gratitude' - which tends to be backward looking and even implies reaction to something we are grateful did NOT happen. Several group exercises were shared that were designed to increase our self awareness and transparency in our loving expression, free from unconscious limitations and unintended messages It was a beautiful afternoon extending into the evening as most of us chose to stay on.     • “ This was my first one and I wish I could do something like this every weekend. I had such an amazing time. We did so many differnt things like water blessings, floating and my favorite the bubble therapy! It was so easy to get together with a total group of strangers and leave having felt so accepted and valued. Joe rocks and maybe some day he can show me dolphins( hint, hint):) ”
